GRHRCH
Candlewoods IceMan, MH “Mann”
Mann died on 12/26/08
He will be greatly missed by the Arceneaux Family and
the White Oak Retriever Family |
|
Mann’s
pedigree is filled with proven producers and top performers--NFC-NAFC
Super Tanker, FC-AFC Webshires Honest Abe, FC-AFC
Candlewoods Gotta B Good, AFC Hiwood Apache.
He comes from strong lines that are found in many of
today’s top field dogs. He is a product of Hall of Fame
breeder Mary Howley’s Candlewood Kennels. His pedigree
will strengthen any lines and is a great choice for a
cross with Lean Mac females or line bred to Harley.
Mann
is a consistent performer; in limited campaigning he has
proved to be very formidable. He passed his very first
Grand in Canada (spring 2002) and Texas (fall 2004) and
went to the fourth in Texas (spring 2004). He earned
his Master Hunter title in the fall of 2004 with a
qualifying score at South Mississippi. He has always
been extremely competitive and consistent. His career
in Started 2/2 being handled by 7 year old Kyle Arceneaux.
Then he went 3/3 to earn his HR, and currently has 16/18 finished passes with strings of 8
and 8 (did not receive qualifying score at 1st attempt
and 10th. Both handler error. 9/13 Master
Level--went out in third series twice.
As a
professional guide in the fall, Mann does not disappoint
as a hunting companion. His desire and intensity is
second to none. He has retrieved over 1,000 wild bird
retrieves in the last four years. He is an excellent
marking dog and exhibits intelligence in addition to
being a great companion. He has the genetics, looks, and
disposition to be the perfect choice as a stud. He is OFA GOOD and CERF CLEAR. He has a sperm motility of 99%.
Mann
has proven to be a retriever that any hunter or hunt
tester would love to have. He has proven that at the
highest levels. Make him your stud of choice.

FC-AFC Fox Hollow's Little Buddy
September
1993 - 12/2006
He will be greatly missed.
Buddy was a 9-year-old
black Labrador retriever with great looks and a whole lot
more! He was ninety (90) pounds of pure athletic
talent and a heart just as big. Buddy was not only a
field trial competitor; but he felt right at home hunting
geese in the corn fields of Illinois or ducks in the rice
fields of Arkansas. He had impeccable house manners!
During 2002 Spring Field Trial season, Buddy WON the
OPEN at the Lincoln Trail Retriever Club Trial which
qualified him for the 2002 National Amateur Championship
which was held in Klamath Falls, Oregon. The Fall
Field Trial season has started and Buddy is again making
it look easy by WINNING the OPEN at American Amateur
Field Trial in Joliet, IL. This Open Win qualified
Buddy for the 2002 National Open to be held in St.
Louis, MO, starting on November 10, 2002, and was the
4th National that he qualified for. Buddy had a total of 55 All-Age Points!
Buddy has
offspring completing at all levels of Retriever Field
Trials and Hunt Tests.

"Paco"
Pedigree |
|
“Paco” was black Labrador
retriever ;a ull brother to the ’98 NFC/AFC Abe’s
Ebony and Ivory and FC/AFC Fox Hollow’s Little Buddy.
This brother does not have to take a back seat to his
brothers, because he has handsome looks and the desire
that never quits.
In 1999 after being Qualified All-Age, Paco set out a full year of
field trials due to an injury. He came back strong from
his injury and qualified for the 2003 National Amateur
Championship Stake and also acquired his AFC in 2003.
In March 2004, Paco earned his FC Title when he won the
Open Stake at River King Retriever Club Field Trial.
This qualified him for the 2004 National Amateur
Championship Stake in Batavia, NY, where he completed 6
series.
Paco was been hunted extensively on Ducks & Geese;
an
absolute “Pleasure” to hunt with.
